I am a second year grad student at East Tennessee State University (henceforth "ETSU," cause otherwise it's really too long to type) in the Master of Arts in Teaching Program (MAT for short). I have an undergraduate degree in English/Creative Writing from the University of Tennessee Knoxville which I received in 2008. I'd say "Go Vols," but it remains to be seen if we can even field a football team this year. I spent the better (or worse) part of a year washing dishes and cooking food in a location which shall remain undisclosed until I decided enough was enough and went back to school in the hopes of acquiring the skills to pay the bills. I hope to use said skills to teach the wonder of literature and the English language (which literally can do anything if used properly) to high school students.
I currently have two dogs and one girlfriend (from Canada, but I try not to hold that against her). My hobbies include reading, watching movies, playing video games, racking up a massive debt due to comic books, and water skiing (which I tried once for the first time this Summer and kinda-sorta succeeded at, so I'm counting it).
Ummm. . . .I guess that's it. I honestly came up with more than I thought I would.
